Love among the stacks: Catie & Justin’s wedding at the historic Boston Public Library

Marissa Pedone Events kicked off the month of September 2023 with another timeless wedding at the Boston Public Library for Florida couple Catie & Justin! These out of towners spend their summers on beautiful Nantucket, but if you're a New Englander then you know how tricky logistics can be to get people to the island. This made the Boston an easy pick for their big day.

Guests checked into their hotels on Thursday, where they were greeted by custom welcome bags that included all the area favorites: gift cards from Dunkin Donuts, Cape Cod chips, lobster lollipops, and so much more.

C & J spent the morning of their wedding enjoying treats from Mike's Pastry (another local must have!), followed by a first look on the rooftop of the Lenox Hotel with the ever talented Zev Fisher Photography.

The weather was beautiful, allowing for ideal ceremony conditions in the infamous BPL courtyard, where C Zone String Trio serenaded guests upon arrival. Marry Me Karla delivered her notorious level of professionalism as an officiant, where guests listened to the couple share their lifelong vows to one another.

We kicked off cocktail hour with an espresso martini tower, meticulously set up by The Catered Affair, which was a welcomed change on the classic champagne tower! The dinner and dancing space was full of lush green and white centerpieces, accented by black spherical vessels, provided by Market Floral Studio.

An incredible performance by Chicago's dualling piano band Felix and Fingers kept guests entertained and on the dance floor all evening. The couple even provided guests with light up bracelets that CJC Lighting & Production paired to match the beat of the music!
